The Dress

I had my twin sister try this dress on for me at Lou Lou Bridal in London, I loved it so much I ordered a dress which was made for me in size 10. However I won't be able to wear it on my big day in April as I have found out I'm pregnant and will be 28 weeks by the time I get married. The pictures you see are of my sister trying on the sample dress in London.

This style of dress is a 1950's tea length dress. There is a strapless silk poly dress worn under the silk overcoat. The overcoat with fastening buttons and buckle belt are made from silk organza.

It comes with a petticoat and I ordered an additional petticoat if you would like to have a fuller skirt.

I have not had an alterations done to the dress since it arrived in Australia however if I was able to wear it I would have had the hem taken up slightly.

The beauty of this dress is it is two in one. You can wear the full attire during the ceremony and then later on the evening when you want to kick your heals up you could if you wanted to remove the silk organza jacket and have the strapless dress.
