The Dress
This is a most stunning ivory silk satin dress in a flattering mermaid cut. The quality of the fabric is clearly visible in the photos - see the way it creates a liquidy glow. The plunging V back is trimmed with exquisite gold french beaded lace, giving it a 20s deco feel. The lace edging continues into flattering capped sleeves, and the look is balanced by a clean soft V neckline. The dress was made uniquely for me by Helen English, a Sydney designer whose store is on the exclusive William Street in Paddington. I absolutely love this dress, but I will let it go to fulfill another bride's dream.
