The Dress

This dress was purchased from David Jones Bridal and worn at our wedding on 15 march 2014. I am 163cm tall and wore 10cm heels. The dress was bought at a size 8 with slightly longer straps than the standard size and the bodice was taken in approximately 1 inch. I am normally a size 8 with a 10B chest. It has been professionally dry cleaned. There are some dirt marks that are still visible but only when you look up close in strong light and only at the hem. Taking the hem up by 2cm would remove all marks.

This dress is very flattering to almost all figures and can be worn with or without the sash. A crystal embellished belt could be worn for a more glamorous look. The bodice is thick and has included padding in the cups. I added extra cups but these are easily removed if you are lucky enough to have a fuller bust. The skirt has a thick double silk lining and is covered by a double layer of silk chiffon which is exceptionally wide and flows beautifully when you walk. As with all of lisa gowing's dresses there is a lovely low back - I will add more photos when I get them from our professional photographer.
