The Dress
Contrasting a simple silk skirt with a ruffled bodice adorned with crystals and faux pearls, this beautiful Matthew Williamson off-white/ivory gown is the perfect balance of classic and cool. The open back adds glamour to the elegant design, while the halter-neck and softly pleated empire line creates a flattering silhouette. The bodice is incredibly detailed and is absolutely spectacular.
The dress has a button fastening at the neck and a concealed hook and zip fastening back. The skirt is 100% silk and is fully lined in silk-satin. It was purchased new from Net-a-Porter and is a true to size Australian/UK 8, but would fit someone who wears a size 8 top and a size 10 pant. I had it hemmed to the length specified below. No other alterations were made. I am 178cm tall and wore 7.5cm heels.
