The Dress

Genuine Oscar de la Renta gown, originally purchased from Saks Fifth Avenue in New York.

The cut of the dress is a classic mermaid sheath, while the exquisite French guipure lace feels original and fresh. The high illusion neckline is extremely flattering, and the gorgeous sweeping train can be bustled for dancing. I loved wearing this dress, and felt comfortable and elegant all day.

It has been altered to fit the below measurements:

Size: 10 (equivalent)
Bust: 34 in (86 cm)
Waist: 28 in (71 cm)
Hips: 38 in (96 cm)
Height: 5'9 in (175 cm). I am 169 cm and wore 6 cm high heels.

I used the lace remnants from the alterations to have a hairpiece and belt made to complement the dress, which are also available for sale.
