The Dress
Purchased from Abbey Bridal in Sydney 2013. Maggie Sottero 'Violet' wedding gown worn once in March 2014. This dress is made of the same lace as the Emma gown, one of the only differences is that the straps are built in rather than detachable.
It is an absolutely gorgeous slim A-line gown of tulle and beaded lace motifs featuring a soft V-neckline, delicate built in cap-sleeves, and covered button over zipper back closure. The only alterations made to the dress were the lowering of the zipper by a few cms to allow for a slightly lower back and the addition of a discrete bow sewed on to allow for a bustle to lift the dress at the reception. The hemline was not touched at all.
The dress has been dry cleaned and boxed. The belt worn in the picture is the 'Carolina' belt from the Maggie Sottero range.
