A beautiful dress by Karen Willis Holmes: Natalia1 - ivory colour

The dress has a gorgeous ruche figure hugging sweetheart bodice, with raw bias strips detail (some call it feathered). The bodice it fitted to the hipbone, and then falls into a gorgeous free flowing skirt made of soft crinkle georgette silk (very much like an elegant chiffon style fabric), and has a small train.

The dress has a boned internal hidden corset, with a button fastening bodice (instead of lace-up). I had padded bra cups included in the dress, so no bra required. I had the belt removed and a rose corsage added to the right side shoulder (also from KWH). The corsage was damaged when the dress was dry-cleaned, but this could be replaced or removed, if a strapless dress is preferred.

I had many compliments on the gracefulness of my dress. The winner was the unusual, but elegant feathered bodice. The style of the dress is very flattering and I truly hope that someone is able to wear it, love it and feel as good in it, as I did.

I am 165cm tall, and the dress is a size 10 to 12. It is a size 10 bodice and closer to size 12 from the hips down.
