Collette Dinnigan, Desiree

This stunning hand beaded french lace Collette Dinnigan gown is from her 2012 collection which I bought at her Woollarah store in Sydney. I wore it once at my wedding in March 2013 and has been dry cleaned and is in excellent condition. It has shoestring straps and plunging back and skims the body in a flattering sheath style.

It is an AU size S (AU size 10, USA 6, EU 36, FRANCE 38, Italy 42), however due to the bare back it can accommodate from a small to a medium bust. The tiny glass beads cover the dress in intricate detail and the weight of the fabric make the dress hang beautifully. The lining is 100% silk and it really is a princess gown that would be stunning for either a wedding or a formal dress occasion.

The hem of the dress has been altered by a wedding dress maker and small bust pads were sewn into lining to boost the cup (I'm a B size). These can easily be removed if desired. The dress is perfect for a total hight, including heels, of 176.5cm/5tf 9 inches. I am 168.5cm/5ft 6 inches tall.
