I can't really explain how beautiful the Jenny Packham 'Aspen' dress, looks and feels on, I just hope the pictures do it justice!

I wore this on my wedding day in March 2013 and although I'm super sad to let the dress go, I can't justify having it sit in my closet when it could be loved and enjoyed by another bride.

I saw the dress online and knew I had to have it. I had tried a couple of other dresses before this but as soon as I put the Aspen on I knew it was the 'the one'. I really wanted a vintage feel to my wedding and this fit the bill perfectly.

I received so many compliments on the dress and it was a joy to wear, really comfortable!

It is a gorgeous ivory silk, with a chantilly lace back, lace cap sleeves and lace detailing in the bodice. It has a short train and I had a loop added so it could be bustled to enable me to more easily walk and dance in it post ceremony.

It is a Jenny Packham size UK12 - which I feel is actually an Aus 10 which is my normal size. Due to the way it is cut it falls beautifully around the hips and bum, and doesn't show any lumps or bumps. I wore this 9 months after giving birth, so it goes to show how flattering the dress is!

I had it taken in slightly at the waist and shoulders by a wedding dress seamstress, to make sure it fit perfectly across the bust because as you can see a strapless/backless bra is needed because it is sheer at the back. These alterations don't change the size though, but if you are unsure, contact me for exact measurements.

I had the dress professionally dry-cleaned straight after the wedding (at Atlas drycleaners, reportedly the best for wedding gowns) and apart from a tiny (less than a cm) hole in the lining (where I accidentally stepped on it) it is in perfect condition. You can't see the hole at all when the dress is worn and if you are having more taken off the hem then this won't be an issue at all. I'm only mentioning it so buyers are aware.

I also had it taken up at the hem by just a couple of cm's. I am 167cm tall and wore 3.5-inch (8.5 cm) heels.

RRP $6,000 so the listed price is a dramatic reduction.
