I was after a vintage style dress and I honestly couldn't have wished for a better dress. This is a gorgeous one-piece, slim line gown with corset closure. This enables the tummy to be sucked in nice and tightly (something we all like). The Gatsby dress features gorgeous embellished lace in a linear design falling gracefully over Romance Satin creating a stunning train. I originally didn't want a train on my dress but as soon as I saw this one I just loved it (there is a button on the back to hold the train as well as a wrist hook). A delicate satin hip band encircles the hips, creating a slimming waistline. There is also a built-in bra support (approximately a C-cup) which can be removed if desired. This is such a comfortable dress for sitting and walking in (important for the many hours that you're in it). I will also send the Maggie Sottero Certificate of Authenticity with its purchase.
