Karen Willis Holmes

1930's inspired vintage silk satin bias wedding gown by Karen Willis Holmes, complete with garment bag. Dress was worn three months ago and was professionally dry cleaned and boxed straight after the wedding.
This dress was made to order at KWH. You may notice two small modifications compared with the dress on the website, both of which were undertaken when the dress was actually made, not afterwards. To create a simpler, backless feel to the dress we removed the small thin strap from the two at the back and lowered the back of the dress by approx 1.5 inches. We didn't go any lower as I wanted the dress to provide adequate support for my bust.
This dress had a simple, vintage feel and made me feel like a movie star without the ball gown look. It is far too beautiful to sit in storage.
Please note: The fabric in this dress is VERY delicate so there are a few, barely noticeable pulls in the satin. They would not be noticed without close examination.

Please note that I am 163cm tall without shoes and would have been 168cm tall on the day with my shoes on.
