Description
Simple and elegant, for the bride who wants something modern with a hint of sexiness. Only purchased in May this year, I didn't get to wear the dress due to becoming pregnant before the wedding, and growing too big for it!
The dress is actually cotton/polyester and falls beautifully along the body, due to the weight of the fabric. The cut of the dress flatters womanly curves and the shoulder line. The extent of the alterations are minimal, with only the hem length being taken up slightly (5cms) and the strip of crystal beading and lace sewn on by hand (this could be easily removed). I am 160cm tall and wore 3inch heels to have the hem alterations done, so it still could suit a slightly taller bride.
Optional hand-made, over-sized silk organza, cream coloured flower accessory is also available (it cost me $60 to have it hand-made by a milliner, will sell for $20 ono). It can be worn on the wrist to draw attention to the waistline of the dress, or pinned on to the dress for extra glam (not pictured).
