Maggie Sottero, Anniston

Worn once and cherished forever, I loved loved wearing this dress!

This dress was perfect for our vineyard garden wedding, perfect balance of embellishment and floaty romance. The bodice is embellished with lace and pewter/silver beading falling into soft tulle, if you search for Anniston on the Maggie Sottero website you can see a description and more photos.

I was a size 10-12, although the dress label says 8 (US sizing I think). The dress was taken in very slightly around the bust, and about 1 inch taken off the length. I'm 170cm (5ft 7) and I wore small heeled shoes on the day. To give you an idea on the bust sizing I'm a 34D/10D, and there was still room for me to wear a bra underneath and we had the corset pulled tight, so plenty of room.

The dress has been kept hanging in a protective dress bag along with the additional corset ties, these come in either thick or thin width, I used thin (see photo). I had bustling added to the dress (see photo) this means after the ceremony you have the option of bustling up the tail of the dress so it does not drag on the floor at your reception.

I'm also looking to sell my veil (see photos), its from Wedding Veils Australia, it's a very simply soft tulle raw edge, 3/4 length veil.
