I tried on this 2011 collection dress from Alfred Angelo not intending to buy anything like this at all but the workmanship is excellent and it looks way more expensive and exquisite than a dress that is less than $2k. His designs are really flattering too in a very elegant way. So walking down the gallery in the bridal shop with their chandelier on...I couldn't stop admiring the sparkly details on the dress...and how it shimmered with every sway and glittered with every turn.

I had the dress ordered in a size 8 with a back paneling on instead of the original sheer mid-riff that you would see on the original dress so that you cannot see through the skin. I also ordered it in a lace up back and had the dress altered to include breast padding so that there's extra support. The dress is in its original length and train, none of that has been changed.

Professionally dry-cleaned, there was no damage from the wear at all and I changed into a reception dress fairly quickly. The dress also comes with optional spaghetti straps that I will include.
