Beautiful strapless Vera Wang mermaid gown in slipper satin material as worn by Kate Beckinsale on her wedding day in 2004. The dress is from the Vera Wang collection in 2004-2005.

I bought the gown in a sample sale in Dublin in 2009 but I never wore the dress due to a change in venue and the dress was no longer appropriate. The pictures are from another wedding that had the same dress.

The dress does require dry cleaning and has some scuff marks due to being a sample gown. It also has a small gap in the seam at the bottom of the zip at the back of the dress where the stitching has come loose but this can be easily fixed.

I was going to add a button detail running the entire length of the back of the gown. The gown also has a beautiful train with a slightly scalloped hem, which can either be free or secured, as desired.

The dress was bought in Brown Thomas Dublin and comes with all the Certified Documentation, hangers and vera wang dress bag.

I am a size 10-12 on top and a 14 on bottom and this dress almost fits perfectly, just being slightly big. It can be easily taken in or out due to the various seams in the dress.

I also have a long chapel train veil with a satin ribbon trim that I bought also from Vera Wang that I can include if you like. This is not the same as the veil in the picture as it is not a two-tiered veil. However it is similar in style with the ribbon trim and length.

I am 5ft 7in and can wear 4 inch heels in the dress.
