The Dress

This is a unique yet timeless strapless lace wedding gown from the Maggie Sottero collection. It was difficult to find any other dress which brought on a wave of excitement and emotion - and it was evident on the special day!

The elegant design features distinctive hand-placed lace appliques, accents of cross-hatching, and subtle scalloping along the lace hem. A layer of allover lace and layers of tulle beneath the appliques add texture and dimension, while a sweetheart neckline and low V-back create a feminine silhouette. The back is finished with covered buttons over a zipper closure.

* Gown has only been worn once and has been professionally dry-cleaned.

* Colour is 'Ivory over Champagne/Pewter Accents'.

* Label on the dress is 'Size 0' (equivalent to size AU 6) and it is ordered in the 'Petite Length' (3 inches shorter). There was no need to alter the length - I am 155 cm, and wore 9.5 cm heels.

* Minor alterations were made by a Maggie Sottero pattern designer including a French bustle where the fabric of the train is gathered underneath the skirt to create a voluminous skirt. I have a list of reputable seamstress' that are experienced with Maggie Sottero designs if required.

* A one-tier ivory raw edge (108" length) is also available.

* Certificate of authenticity and official dress carry bag included.
