The Dress

The Pronovias site says “This princess wedding dress is an ode to springtime. A masterpiece with floral motifs and details in thread embroidery and gemstones. Tulle combined with Chantilly and guipure in a tremendously feminine, evocative design.”

This is a beautiful dress, worn for my wedding in June 2018. It was so comfortable to wear and has fastenings underneath to create a bustle to lift the dress up for dancing (as can be seen in the photo). It has a nude strapless bodice underneath, which is boned at the sides, with a lace embellished top, with layers of tulle with chantilly lace. The size on the original tags, which I still have, is 14-16 for the designer, which is a street size of 12-14. I had this altered down to fit my measurements at the time which were: bust 37 1/2 inches; waist 33 inches; and hips 36 1/2 inches. I am 5’5” and wore shoes with 9cm heels. The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and is packaged in a box. I also have the original dress carrier from Pronovias

I was breastfeeding my daughter at the time, and it was very easy to do this in the dress by slipping one of the shoulders down.
