The Dress

This is a Justin Alexander full length, ivory, delicate lace, fishtail, v-neck dress (style number 8626) purchased from Creatiques Bridal Boutique in Southsea, Hampshire.

This is my sister's wedding dress, worn for her rustic-themed wedding in Hampshire. The beautiful front and back V creates a very classic, feminine and elegant bridal look whilst still being comfortable and easy to relax and dance in. There is a bra fitted into the bodice of the dress for extra structure and to ensure a flattering figure. The buttons add further detailing to the back, there's a silk ribbon around the waist and the train gives it that wow factor. The train can be bustled in the evening to make it easier to dance and mingle with your guests.

The dress is a UK size 6 (true to size - my sister is a 32A bra size and 30" hips) and the only alteration at time of purchase was at the hem to fit my sister who is 5'4" and wearing 3" heels. There is absolutely no damage to the dress and it has been professionally dry-cleaned and boxed so that it remains in pristine condition. It looks as good as it did when she bought it but it would look far better on a bride than in a box. We hope that it will make another bride feel as good as she did on her wedding day.
