The Dress
This is an absolutely stunning ivory dress with chantilly lace. The under-skirt is champagne colored and the lace on top is white, which gives it a nice ivory color overall. It has a vintage flair with full-length lace and pearls throughout. When I saw it in the bridal store it immediately reminded me of Downton Abbey and I fell in love with it. We had an indoor wedding and it still looks brand-new. There are no rips stains, or pulling on the beads; you really can't even tell it has ever been worn.
Alterations
The alterations shortened the straps a little and created a bustle using 6 hook-and-eyes. The molded cups were a little too big for me (cup size A) so the seamstress added smaller cups inside which can quickly and easily be removed (see picture).
