The Dress

This gorgeous Carolina Herrera Jensen gown has a sweetheart neckline with organza trim, a fit and flare design, and an eyelash lace scalloped hem. It hugs all the right places and then flares out for an elegant train. I had nothing but compliments on my wedding day!

The dress is a size 6, but fits like a 4 and the top was altered (see alterations section) to fit like a 2. My measurements are:

bust=32.25 inches (I had padding sewn in to fill out the boobs...it could be removed)
waist=27.5 inches (the added ribbon is here)
hips=38.25 inches (the largest part of my body)
length (front) 55 inches
length (back including train) 69 inches
I'm 5'9" and wore 3.5 in heels.

This dress does have some signs of wear, as photographed. The organza trim at the bust has 2 spots with tears, which happened during my fittings and were not noticeable on my wedding day. The bottom of the dress/the eyelash lace edge is dirty from walking around and dancing...I have not dry cleaned the dress, so this would likely come out easily. The layers of tulle near the feet have some holes and jagged edges in them because I kept stepping on them when going up stairs or when dancing...my day-of-coordinator literally trimmed the tulle with scissors during the reception. This tulle is not visible since it is covered up by the lace layer!

Other than the above mentioned flaws, this dress is in good shape and I would love to pass it on to another lucky bride! Let me know if you have any questions! :)

Alterations

The waist and bust were taken in (the top now fits more like a 2, and the bottom fits like a 4). Padded cups were added to the bust (no need for a bra!), and an interior ribbon was added at the waist to ensure the dress didn't fall down.
