The Dress

I absolutely fell in love with this dress, even though it was a bit above my budget! The gorgeous sheer back with lace detailing was definitely a highlight of this dress. The stunning train with the lace was also a focal point. I felt there was just the right amount of lace detailing throughout the dress, and it was of very high quality. I also loved that I felt slim and fit in this dress. I tried on another that was somewhat similar in appearance, but it made me feel rather chunky (not what I wanted as a bride!). I wanted a dress that had shoulders so I wasn't constantly feeling the need to adjust my dress. These gorgeous shoulders provided the perfect fit and comfort, but also felt very subtle and natural as the sheer and lace combination seamlessly pulled together the front and the back of the dress. I also loved how the dress twirled, it made me feel like a princess! The dress did not feel too heavy or hot. As far as wedding dresses go, I thought it was quite comfortable. I had so many compliments on this dress, especially regarding the back, the train, and the intricate lace details.

Alterations

I had a few minor alterations done by a professional seamstress including adding a bustle and shortening the dress a bit to fit my height. I am 5'1 without shoes and had short heels making it so I altered the dress to fit 5' 3.5". Another note on sizing, I am a size 32C and this dress comes with a built in bra. I did ask to have the sweetheart neckline tightened just a little to make it a bit more conservative.
