The Dress

I had a dream wedding in this Pronovias Oreste dress. It has a stunning shape, with classic details that make it feel modern, light, and elegant. I received in numerous compliments on this dress.

Size: Custom made as a wedding dress size 8, however, altered to fit a street-size 4 at the chest and waist. Slim size 6 at the hips and rear. I am 5'5" and wore 4" inch heels.

Description: The dress begins with a boat-neck style neckline (with lace, it's very light). It transitions into a very low back, and ends in an upside down 'C' around the rear that accentuates the bottom, and is finished with a hidden zipper and faux buttons (except for a few that are used to finish up the dress). The front is a crepe sheath that provides some structure to the dress, and continues into a long train that has delicate French lace at the back. I had clear buttons added to tuck it up into a bustle in case you'd like to wear it without the train.

Condition: This dress is in immaculate condition. It was worn for the ceremony, some pictures, and the beginning of the reception, after which I changed into a second dress. I had it dry cleaned at an expert dry cleaner in Toronto and there are virtually no tears, rips, stains, or signs of wear. Can be altered to have the bra pads removed, and hemmed to your height.

Reason for selling: I have no room in my apartment to store this, and would hope someone else can love it and give it another time to shine!

Suggestive empire line mermaid wedding dress with a bateau neckline. A perfect combination of crepe, tulle and lace floral motifs. There’s a glimpse of a suggestive sweetheart neckline at the front, although it is the work of skilled artisans that really stands out.
