The Dress

This is Sarah Seven's clean and sophisticated Quixote dress with a custom skirt. It has a minimal silhouette, but the beaded bodice gives it a beautiful touch of embellishment and texture. I also liked how how the beaded bodice created a very defined waist and flattering fit. It was important to me to feel beautiful at my wedding, but also to be comfortable and practical. Since my wedding was outdoors, I did not want to worry about a train or bustle, so the skirt was slimmer and just brushed against the ground rather than dragged. It was easy to sit down during dinner and then dance the night away without worrying about anyone stepping on my dress. I love this dress, but being realistic, I know I won't wear it again. Within a couple of weeks of my wedding, I had the dress professionally dry-cleaned by a company that specializes in cleaning high-end garments and wedding dresses, so it looks like new.

Alterations

I am petite, so the straps, and waist were taken in. The dress fits more like a petite size 2 even though technically it was a size 4. I had soft bra cups sewn into the dress, so no bra necessary! I am 5'3", but the dress was hemmed to be floor length while wearing 3" in heels. So
