The Dress
Absolutely stunning trumpet style dress with diamante beading throughout the bodice. Sheer front with illusion back with beading detail on back. Zip up to low back with beading from top all the way to the bottom of the long train. Dress was chosen based on the sophisticated, yet sexy style with the trendy separate feel on top and bottom. Bottom material is mikado (similar to satin) with tulle underneath to provide volume. I felt amazing in this dress, it hugged the small curves that I have being petite. 3 of the buttons have the center stones missing, but is not at all visible.
Alterations
I had the hem done, picked up the straps a little to fit my chest, and took in a little around my mid thigh to give me more of the mermaid style. I was able to dance, sit and walk fine. I also fixed all of the broken button loops, the bustle and applied the straps for hanging again as I cut mine day of so they wouldn't be seen.
