The Dress

This dress has exactly the characteristics I'd been looking for - halter style with unique features and an open back. My husband found it the ONE TIME I invited him to shop with me after I'd already tried 8 stores. It must be good luck!
If you are also looking for a unique halter wedding gown, maybe this is the one for you. It is an off-white/ivory lace dress with medium length (court?) train and all the bustle parts are intact. The collar is of beautiful lace flowers that add some pop, and a smattering of beading cascades from there diminishing below the bustline (look at the close-up pic.) The classy but sexy open back has lace sides that make the dress feel both super comfortable and contained. The dress was like an extension of me, but was supportive and hugged without being too tight. I suppose great alterations will do that.
Dress was cleaned by the couture cleaners, Margaret's Cleaners in San Diego. Looks perfect.

Alterations

Taken in for my measurements. Hemmed for me to walk/dance (5'9.) Two different bustles made - one under/French, and the other traditional/outer. I can provide a video for how to bustle this dress if needed.
