The Dress
The Samara dress was made in January 2019 for my wedding on the 23rd March in New Zealand this year.
I purchased a size 12 however the bodice and waist has been taken in to fit a size 10 as I had lost weight in the last 2 months leading up to my big day.
The bodice is fully boned and has a low back. The boning hugs your bust no need for a bra however cups can be added if required. (I can pass you the details of my dressmaker who altered the dress for me)
I also had the dress hemmed and a hook and button added to the back of the train to clip up into a bustle.
You can leave the lace train down for your ceremony then clip the bustle up to level the hem for your reception and first dance.
The dress is made from beautiful stretch lace and the lining is a woven stretch crepe.
My wedding was in New Zealand and the dress was perfect to travel with - I did not have to iron it as the lace does not crease! Perfect for destination weddings.
I’m also selling the cathedral veil I had made to match the dress for an additional $200. It retails for $340 from Karen Willis Holmes.
Try ons welcome at my home in Bondi Junction or at my office in Alexandria. I love this dress but sadly selling it to fund our honeymoon in October.
