The Dress

I purchased this incredible dress from a leading bridal boutique in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. From the ‘Essence of Australia’ collection, this stunning dress features Ivory lace and tulle with an amazing pale mink underlay, which absolutely caught my attention! It makes the lace stand out beautifully as you can see in the photos. I knew it was certainly a one-of-a-kind dress!

It has a beautiful chapel train, which can also be bustled for dancing! I loved the way it glides on the floor!
The lace gives a timeless look, pure romance and elegance!

The fit of this dress gives a super flattering and feminine silhouette. The bodice has boning to hold you in at all the right places, with built in bra cups for added support.

The back fastens with a zip and then looped buttons to finish - absolutely stunning!

I wore this dress with flat ballet shoes and am 5 foot 10 in height.

The dress is in great overall condition. Only a few small signs of wear. It has been professionally dry-cleaned. There is a small stain on part of the lace near the hem where it dragged on the floor. Message for more info if needed 👍🏻

Please note: The hook and eye fastening at the top of the back needs fixing as the eye has come off. Very easily replaced! (If needed at all to be honest, you may be ok without).

Alterations

Hips were extended and bodice taken in, as well as a bustle for the train to be picked up. Measurements above are after these adjustments.

I had lace straps added which rest delicately on the shoulders and go to a V at the back, and extra lace on the centre of the sweetheart neckline, as I wanted to increase the modesty of the dress, particularly for the ceremony. These straps can be potentially removed.
