The Dress

This Stella York Boho Wedding Gown (style 6466) is gorgeous and has a really great train and overall shape. Received lots of compliments in my wedding. I love this dress because it's lace, tulle, and satin - no beads or sequins! But does come with a removable beaded belt and removable spaghetti straps for optional use. Has a beautiful, romantic feel about it. The dress's color is in sable which is not ivory but has a slight pinkish hue. The dress gives a nice "glow" from the standard white or ivory dresses.

After the wedding, I got the dress professionally cleaned and bagged.

Alterations

I'm 5'0" and weigh 115 pounds. I wore 4" Betsy Johnson Blue gold heels with the dress, both during the alteration sessions and ultimately for the wedding: https://betseyjohnson.com/collections/shoes-betsey-blue/products/sb-tacie-gold-glitter

I wear a 33.5" B bra size. I added a built-in bra in the dress for support and for a slight push-up effect. Took in the sides so that it fits under my arms better.

I also got the waist pulled in to have a tight a-frame look. Altogether, I had about $750 of alterations done to the dress so that it could fit me better (was way too big, even though I was told upon purchasing that a size 8 is appropriate for me).
