The Dress

I am so sad to see my dream wedding dress go but I would love it to make someone else to feel as incredible as I did instead of just sitting in my wardrobe.

The SIA gown is so comfortable and comes with a super sexy off white slip underneath that you could definitely wear separately! The (off white) lace overlay is actually a dream as well as the beautiful bell sleeves. ✨✨

The dress (and slip) has been professionally dry cleaned, the slip is immaculate but there is a few very small spots on the bottom of the crochet/lace which are barely noticeable as there is so much happening with the lace. I can provide photos if interested in purchasing. Some of the edging of the trim has come loose but more can be purchased from $55 (per half meter) from the Bridal Atelier (Double Bay). I think it measures to roughly 155cm to be fixed but that would be if you wanted it perfect. I am very happy to organise the extra edging for you to purchase and have it delivered to your household. Or I am happy to link you in with Chanel from The Bridal Atelier to organise the extra edging. Jenny (seamstress) also said it would cost $55 to fix 155cm of the edging. Hope this helps.

The edging only started coming off during getting our magical photos as I was barefoot (so the dress was too long for me) and I was walking over sticks and rocks etc. Such an easy fix though.

From the designer: Sia uses our delicate embroidery on mesh to create a fitted bodice to the low hip before Crochet panels are added using their scallop edge, which hits all the right points on the figure adding movement and spirit to the entire gown as it falls into a full skirt and train. Set in sleeves remain fitted to the elbow before falling into romantic crochet bells with opening to show wrists and add relief.

Alterations

I purchased this as a size 10 but was recommended an amazing seamstress to alter it to an 8.
The seamstress I used was also in Double Bay (Jenny) and I am happy to pass on those details as she regularly alters Rue De Seine gowns and helped make the SIA gown a perfect fit.
