The Dress

Dress was dropped off at the dry cleaners 9/16, I was told it would be ready for pick up in 2 weeks :)

Will respond to all offers! This gown is STUNNING. It was everything I hoped for in a gown and more. I received so many compliments and felt beautiful. The gown was purchased from Lambs Hill Bridal in Beacon, arrived in early 2019 and was worn for my June 2019 wedding. "Markle" is the perfect amount of sparkle, the dress glistens in the sun with labyrinth caviar, but isn't going to blind your guests. The dress feels heavy on the hanger, but basically the dress holds itself up once on, I made it through a choreographed first dance and impromptu salsa performance no problem. I will be sending the dress to the dry cleaner and will provide a receipt once I have done so. The tulle around the very bottom of the dress did receive a few rips, but could be spruced back up with some seamstress attention. Other than that the dress is in near perfect condition and was returned to its original garment bag after the wedding. The dress was ordered in a bridal size 18, I was a street size 10 at the time of the wedding and the dress fit perfectly. Please feel free to message me with any and all questions you may have :).

Alterations

Straps were shortened. I was 5'4" in my heels and the straps were loose enough on me that I probably should have had them shortened more to prevent them from falling down on me. The v-cut in the front of the dress was closed just slightly. The dress was hemmed so that the very bottom layer was off the floor. Again, for my own wedding I definitely could have taken more off the bottom as I had to kick the front of the dress in front of me so I didn't trip over myself lol. Could definitely be worn by a 5'7" bride (with heels) or shorter. An American bustle was added but did break during the reception and would need to be fixed.
