The Dress

This is a gorgeous, classic wedding gown from Karen Willis Holmes. Part of the Design Your Gown collection, it combines the Kitty bodice and Joni skirt. The bodice is well-fitted and structured with a button up back so you don't need to wear anything underneath, feels very supportive and comfortable. The dress is made of Mikado silk so it holds it's shape really well without being heavy or too hot/clingy (I wore this on a 38 degree day for our wedding! The skirt moves beautifully and is made with organza, and has a band at the bottom which helps the outer layer to hold its shape.

I added the Selena train (also made of the same organza as the outer layer of the skirt) which gave the dress volume and structure, and looked amazing in photos.

The dress and train have both been dry cleaned. The dress/train have a few pulls from walking in the bushland area, and there is a small burn mark on the outer layer of the skirt.

The total retail price of the dress was $4250, and Selena train currently retails for $2300.

Alterations

The length was taken up as i'm 5'4, & the bodice was taken out.
