The Dress

This beautiful Pronovias dress literally made my day! I felt incredible and was showered with compliments.

It’s very light and easy to move in :) the colour is off white/crystal (ivory over ivory) - many people bought the other colour but I love this version.

I'm usually a size 12 on the high street, but surprisingly this dress is a size 10. The Pronovias sizing is fairly generous in my opinion.

I've had it freshly dry-cleaned and it looks great. There is zero damage to the lace, the only thing is that there are a few small grey marks on the lining that wouldn't come out. These cannot be seen when the dress is on.

Alterations

I had the dress taken up as I am 5ft5 and was wearing a sandals with only a small heel.

The dress was let out a tiny tiny bit at the top around the bust, and then taken in a tiny bit at the waist. This is because I had a fear of back fat and didn’t want it too tight! They initially took it in everywhere so I know it can easily be sized down if you want it smaller. The waist can also easily be let back out.

I also had extra lace flowers added along the top of the dress at the back, which I think looks prettier than a sharp line - but again, these can be removed.
