The Dress
The most comfortable dress i've ever and probably will ever wear. I knew Jaeger was the one as soon as I tried her on. I wanted something simple, beautiful, I was a minimalist bride who wanted to 'wow!' but quietly and adored the lace immediately.
A full lace gown over a comfortable stretch cotton double layer underlay (so comfortable!!! Easy to dance in & walk in, I stayed in this dress ALL NIGHT!!). I was after something fitted that also shaped and supported my silhouette. The dress was altered to have a bustle for those moments the beautiful train was pinned up (during reception & for first dance).
No damage to length of the dress, top to bottom. Inspected by myself & dry cleaners.
Alterations
Lengthening of the tuelle straps (still original straps). Bussel and clip attached. Also some excess fly away lace removed around tip of the shoulders. Alterations through recommended alterer by GCBL - Alterations Exclusive. Cost $200.
Dry cleaning bill $200, performed 2 days post ceremony.
Dry cleaners have vouched that "this was THE CLEANEST wedding dress" they'd seen! - Noosa Dry Cleaners. Stored & comes in GCBL bridal bag post drying cleaning.
