The Dress

RRP £2150 Paloma Blanca Dress design 4400 from the Fall 2013 collection.

Size 12 on label but has been altered closer to size 10 with the waist taken in and straps shortened. Suitable for brides with B-D cup, inbuilt supportive corset (and deep pockets!)

I fell in love with the classic design of this dress and the shape, the external is 100% Dupioni Silk with re-embroidered lace bodice. There is no hoop in the skirt but the netting gives the skirt a beautiful shape when worn (officially called a princess style). Bands fasten around the waist inside the corset pulling in the shape of the dress and is easily fastened with a zip. I am 5"5 and wore 2 inch heels on my wedding day with the length perfect. 2 silk hooks on the train can be looped around the wrist to prevent tripping and the train itself can be buttoned up in a bustle.

Freshly dry-cleaned selling with 76.7% discount from original sale price due to signs of wear on the under-layers of the dress and one small hole on the underskirt, not noticeable from the outside. Small discolouration of the lace on the back, but again not noticeable when worn.

Alterations

Straps shortened slightly and waist taken in.
