The Dress

Feel like a floating boho-chic angel in this hand beaded V-Neck gown with open back and front split opening. 70’s inspired long angle bell sleeves and keyhole back. Fitted silhouette with layered skirt panelling and full train.

I purchased this sample sized dress off the rack at a bridal shop earlier this year and lovingly wore it for my wedding this August. I had it altered from a UK size 10, down to my size, a US 2. There are (removable) cups sewn in, as well as a bustle. As with any used beaded gown, there are some very minor pieces of beading/thread that have fallen off through out the dress, but could be easily fixed by alterations. Otherwise, there are no rips or tears.

The tags were also removed by alterations because they were showing, but I still have them and will send them along with the dress.

NOTE: It has not been cleaned and the dress was worn outdoors. There are some very minor dirt stains from people stepping on my train that could be easily removed by a dry cleaner.

Alterations

The dress was altered from a UK 10 down to a US 2. Sleeves shortened, straps shortened, bra cups sewn in, as well as a bustle. Added two fish eye hooks in addition to the two buttons around the neck closure for extra security. Tags removed, but will be sent with dress upon purchase.
