The Dress

This gorgeous Caine gown by Watters (sold out at BHLDN) is extremely gorgeous, comfortable and flattering! The original dress had larger, exaggerated bell sleeves, but I took out some of the fabric to better fit my frame.

The dress features built-in bust cups, and is stretchy - making it comfortable to walk and dance in! It also has a plunging neckline (with mesh panels) as well as an open back with mesh panels.

I only wore this dress for approx. 4 hours, and it has been dry cleaned. I felt amazing in the dress and got so many compliments! With the alterations, I truly was able to make a one-of-a-kind, timeless dress, that I'm hoping someone else will be able to also enjoy.

Alterations

I took in half of the fabric for the bell sleeves, making them less exaggerated, and the dress was also taken in at the waist, down through the leg, to make it more form fitting (purchased a size 4, I'm typically around a size 2-4). The length was also hemmed (I am almost 5'3" and wore 3" heels). There is extra room in the alterations to take the dress out, and to make the sleeves and the length longer. This is a very easy dress to alter! The alterations helped make dress look sleeker and sexier!
