This was the most comfortable dress to wear! I purchased it at the end of 2018 for my wedding in May this year. I got so many compliments on the simple yet elegant style which flowed beautifully.

The Tara is no longer available to purchase as a custom size from the Grace Loves Lace website. When ordering this dress I was a standard size 16. However I did lose around 12kgs before my wedding so did get a few simple adjustments made which I have detailed below. These can all be ‘undone’ easily as advised by my dress maker. I would say the dress is now a standard 14. The material however is so amazingly stretchy, that even if you were a dress size or two up, I can imagine that it will still fit perfectly!

The Tara helped make my special day perfect, and I would love to see another bride have this dress for her day :) it was so easy to put on and take off, slipped straight over the head without any worries about hair and makeup (or the dress) being ruined!
It was well taken care of, I followed the care instructions afterwards and the dress has come up beautifully, I have inspected it and cannot see any imperfections.

Alterations

The measurements I have entered above are AFTER all alterations and as the dress is now.
As I had lost around 12kgs between ordering my dress and receiving it, I did need to get a few simple alterations done described below.
My dressmaker brought the bust in and also adjusted the silk straps to fit me perfectly. She also replaced the built in cups with thicker ones and sewed these in. The dress will be sent with original cups also. She advised all of these alterations can be easily undone or adjusted :)
