The Dress
My beautiful silk faille and chantilly lace dress was designed and hand crafted by Tania Stokes in Melbourne.
I wanted a dress that wasn’t figure hugging, to allow for plenty of food and drink consumption comfortably on the day, but one that was relatively slim line and feminine.
The bodice is more fitted, with breast cups sewn in, however we placed the delicate lace in places to flatter and accentuate the waist line and hide any possible lumps and bumps! (Silk sometimes is really not forgiving!).
The buttons on the back are very easy to do up and hold the dress firmly to you, creating a super comfortable and secure fit.
From the time I put this dress on to taking it off, I felt completely comfortable and confident. The double length hook underneath made it very easy for dancing and wearing outdoors.
