The Dress

I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable I was in this dress the entire day and night! I have a very minimalist style, so I appreciated how simple, yet elegant this dress was. The floral lace was just right. It added depth without adding too much distraction. I was able to twirl around during my first look pictures and dance the night away during the reception with no issues. I did not feel the need to wear a veil, although I did try one on and it looked perfectly fine with one. I got married in an outdoor, rustic setting in August, so it was the perfect look and feel for the environment and weather, as the lace did not feel too hot. Although it was 80 degrees and Sunny, this versatile style could work with other settings as well. I received so many compliments on this dress and would love to see it be used again! I had this dry-cleaned within 3 days after the wedding, so it's in great condition!

Alterations

Hem, sides of gown through hip taken in, shoulders raised, armholes scooped, straps on slip raised, darts added to front and back necklines, bustle, cups added. My alterations were done very well by a highly-rated, popular tailor in Philadelphia and I was very satisfied.
