The Dress

The Dress:
Timeless and chic wedding beauty by Vera Wang from the Spring 2019 collection. Her name is Ava.

Ava is a soft mermaid/trumpet gown made of 4 layers of silk crepe with a hand-draped cowl neckline. I added covered buttons to the hem for an extra touch of elegance. It comes with detachable sleeves that can be hooked onto the dress or taken off easily. Slight train that can be bustled with an easy clip for dancing if preferred.

Ava was perfect for my wedding ceremony in Bali as I was looking for a classic, effortlessly elegant and romantic dress – it is a dress that I’ll look back 10, 20 years from now and still look fondly upon. I wore the dress for a few hours during the ceremony.

The dress was bought from San Francisco's Vera Wang flagship boutique. It’ll come with the official receipt, Vera Wang’s garment bag & hanger. Retail price: US$4,450

The Veil:
Customized blusher tulle veil, hand-sewn with Chantilly and corded laces, made by a Singaporean designer. Retail Price: US$1,000

The full set has been professionally dry cleaned by Jeeves immediately after wedding early Oct 2019. Prefer to sell the dress and veil as a set given they go perfectly well together, but open to either.

Alterations

Alterations were made to the size US 2 dress to take in the hips, waist and bust, and to hem for height length. We left the extra fabric during alterations so it’ll be flexible for petite woman, ranging between size 2 or less.
