The Dress

This stunning gown was a dream come true!
My fiancé and I were having a very low key, casual and intimate wedding. I wanted something that was easy to dance in, flowy, made me feel like a princess and most importantly comfortable. This gown gave me all that and more!

The gown silhouette is originally ball gown but I had extra layers taken out of the skirt to give it a more A-line feel but keeping the fitted bodice look. The colour is a very subtle and beautiful 'light peach' which most people mistake for an ivory. The bodice is sheer with lace and beaded applique throughout the gown.The skirt itself is tulle which benefits in making it a light and easy flowing gown. It has a drop V neckline and back which gives the gown a sleek and sexy look without being too over the top. This gown is simple and easy to do up with an invisible zip and hook and eye. The gown has just a hint of a sweep train but nothing too big to get in the way of your big day!

I am quite tall, 178cm so I did not wear heels on the day. I am lucky enough to know the seamstress who helped me with my dress and she has been kind enough to allow me to give her number to whoever purchases this gown if you need any alterations. She knows this gown inside and out and will be able to tailor it to your liking as much as she possibly can!
Also comes with extra lace and beading.

The gown is in very good condition and has been professionally dry cleaned by a dry cleaner who specialise in wedding attire only (certificate can be provided) along with being stored in a dress bag to preserve it's beauty. (Also comes with a 50% discount voucher for the next dry cleaning service!)

For serious brides only there is potential for you to come and inspect the gown in person but I would like to try and keep it as untouched as possible for the next beautiful bride-to-be.

*If interested in this dress please look at the measurements instead of size. I can range from a size 6-10 because of my body shape and depending on the brands. The measurement will give you the best indication for your true fit. Being a low back you do have a little extra room in the waist area also.

Alterations

This gown was a custom made to measure dress from its original strapless, sweetheart neckline.
I changed to a V neckline, V back which ended at my waist.
Hard netting and a layer of tulle was removed from the skirt, as well as being raised by 3cm to start from my waist line and stitched down so it didn't puff out too much. (This helped create the A-line shape I was after)
The straps are 1.5cm wide on top of shoulders.
1.8m train was transformed into a sweep train.
