The Dress

Gorgeous Ivory scalloped lace gown with nude lining underneath. This dress hugs the body perfectly and the lace is slightly stretchy and light weight making it perfect for a spring or summer wedding.

The most stunning feature of the dress is the beautiful train that trails behind seamlessly. The dress comes with a wrist loop but my seamstress also added a finger loop.

I purchased this dress from the Bridal Atelier in Double Bay, Sydney in June 2018. The dress has been worn once at My wedding in November 2018 and has since been dry-cleaned.

Alterations

$900 in alterations were done to the dress. The train was shortened at the front and sides. I'm 164cm and I wore a 10cm heel - the dress just grazed the ground at the front after the alterations.

There was a slight train on the silk slip underneath but the seamstress cut this to floor length making the dress even easier to walk in.

The slip was also secured along the halter line so the straps did not poke out or slip off the shoulder.

The dress was also taken in slightly around the ribcage. My measurements are included above. I'm a standard size 8.
