The Dress

I wore the Cecily gown by Wtoo for my wedding. When I first saw the dress, I absolutely fell in love with it! This is after weeks of searching through Perth boutiques with not much luck.

It fitted well with my wedding theme, which was focused on having fun and having a casual celebration. I loved how the lace made it feminine but not over the top, and how it was comfortable to wear without much restriction in movement ( I was playing with the kids throughout the day).

The inner layer is a light blush colour ( material polyester and nylon) and the lace is an ivory colour. The sheer back and train was probably my favourite part of the dress, and the ivory lace gave a slight vintage feel to it. My husband's niece was so mesmerized by the dress that she said I was more a princess than Princess Elsa - she was distraught to find out that I was going to sell my dress!

Alterations

I had it taken in as a US size 4 was still too big, taken up to accommodate the height of heels, and had bust cups added in. I'm usually an AU size 8 and 164cm tall, and on the day itself I wore 9.5cm heels. The train is in its original length.
