The Dress

I am hoping that my dream dress can now become someone elses!

The Cassie dress by Karen Willis Holmes is part of their Luxe Collection. This dress is filled with beautiful detailing right down to the hand beading. It is classic, modern and oozes elegance all at the same time.

I had always loved the designs of KWH but this dress was more than I ever expected to find.
In my everyday life, I wear typically flowy, loose fitting clothes so I never expected to fall in love with the Cassie. The waist detail is extremely flattering as well as the stretch lining fabric, it fits in all the right places. The high neckline and long sleeves compliment the diamond shape cut-out back. It has a small tie that connects the back (as seen in pictures) and is also finished with a fine beaded belt.

I am a standard size 10 and it fit me perfectly. I did not have to alter the fit of the dress at all.
The only alterations made was taking it up to match my height. I am 170cm and I wore a block heel with the height of 8.5cm (Nine West – Via)

It has a small hole where a hook caught on the beading layer during photos– it was removed and is not noticeable at all– I am more than happy to send a photo of it though.

Alterations

Only alteration made was to match my height - 170cm - a block heel of 8.5cm was worn on the day.

The seamstress also added a tiny button to the back so I could attach the train up at the reception - it can hook on easily and both are not visible to the eye

I did not add a breast cup to the dress as it was not needed. I wanted the next owner not to worry about different breast cup sizes.
