The Dress

This beautiful Charlie Brear dress with scalloped lace and soft washed satin was an absolute pleasure to wear on my wedding day. I wish I had an excuse to wear it all the time, to be honest. The beautiful soft satin and feel of the lace against my skin, the antique appearance and the way it moved so wonderfully when I danced. I would love to keep it, but would hate for the dress to deteriorate and not be enjoyed by anybody else.

The dress has been taken up by only a few centimetres at the waist to allow for my short stature, but remains quite long as I wore quite high heels. The cap sleeve additions can be shortened or removed. There is some ever so slight discolouration on the lace of the lower hem,(pictured) which is barely noticeable in most lights.

The Celeste beaded belt was purchased separately, but if interested you can purchase for $50 (it was $120 new). The Chapel length ivory veil (single tier) is free if you wish to add this to your order (value at time of purchase was $220).

Alterations

A few centimetres taken up at the waist.
The cap sleeves were designed to be added at length of brides taste, I chose a shorter length.
