The Dress

This is the Austin Rose gown, made in beautifully soft flowing silk georgette, it features handmade rosette embellishments, a low-v back with silk covered buttons, delicate ruching through the bodice and a small train. Worn for my winery wedding this gown is simple in its elegance, a stunning silhouette which made me feel beautiful and confident all day.

This gown was handmade in Melbourne in the iconic Hardwick building. Originally a trumpet style, I had the skirt raised 3 inches on this gown to create a silhouette similar to fit and flare. The circular train can be bustled.

The fit is firm at the ribs/waist, with 2 separate settings (via internal strap) to keep this gown in place. No hitching required! It was extremely comfortable, allowing plenty of freedom to dance, sit and eat gracefully. Compared to my measurements there is extra room from the waist down and possibly in the bust.

Gown has been dry-cleaned as recommended by Mariana Hardwick at Ferrari Wedding Gown Cleaners Moorabbin ($595), and stored in between acid free paper, in a box. Mariana Hardwick hanging storage bag also provided.
