The Dress

Brand new size 8 (6) custom Wendy Makin wedding dress looking to make your special day!

This was designed with Wendy Makin herself at a designer day at Annabel's Bridal in Canberra. The dress is classic and elegant, combining two of Wendy's designs - a full circle Mikado silk skirt ('Elsa'), with a French guipure beaded lace bodice ('Geneva') and a sweetheart neckline. The skirt has a small train, and can be worn with a hoop.

The ribbon and bow around the waist could be very easily removed.

The dress is a size 8 at the bust, though a size 6 at the waist. Plenty of room at the bust and low hip (given the shape). I have not had the dress altered, as is it would suit a bride up to 172cm tall (or shorter with shoes).

Measurements:
Bust: 84cm
Waist: 67cm
Height: 172cm, inc. shoes. The skirt at the front is 115cm from waist to floor; at the back the train goes to 165cm from the waist.

My fiancé and I decided we want to elope instead of a big wedding, hence why I have decided to sell this beautiful dress.

The dress is as it was when I first picked it up from the bridal shop and is in absolutely perfect condition. I have only worn it to take pictures and measurements. We have kept it in a separate, closed room at all times, double bagged, and in a non-smoking household.
