The Dress

Worn for my wedding in August 2019. This was such a comfortable and flattering dress, it was a dream to wear! Classic cut with a bit of shimmer which made it sparkle in the Kimberley sun, while staying subtle and elegant.
The dress is called “Luna” by Jane Hill, made in Melbourne.
It’s from the current SS19 Moroccan Rose Collection.
The beading detail is gorgeous and I had it made with tan underlay which makes it look bright and natural.
The dress was altered to fit me, a fairly standard size 8. I’m 164cm tall and wore 9cm heels.
I chose not to insert cups but they could easily be added. I instead wore stick on cups.

The overlay and underlay have been attached so that the layers do not separate in the train.

I also had a bustle added so you can dance freely without the train! As seen in the photos where you tie the bustle needs a minor repair, some stitching has come away with the weight of the dress. Minor repair needed.
Low V neck front and back. From the waist up it is slightly more sheer, which Iooks very delicate.
It has been beautifully drycleaned by Syndal’s bridal dry cleaning. (Recommended by Jane Hill) , it is in very good condition. They did an absolutely amazing job considering we got married in the Kimberley. The photo of it hanging is it’s current condition!
I’m also happy to throw in my custom made veil/‘wings’, which is also in perfect condition. The veil clips on at the back of the dress to the straps (buttons invisible)I had this custom made as I wasn’t after your classic veil. This veil drapes and lines up perfectly with the dresses v-back. The veil easily clipped on for our ceremony and photos and once we were down with it, it easily clipped off for the reception.

Alterations

I had the dress altered/taken up and hemmed so I just had a small-medium length train. See photos. I also had the bustle added. See note re:veil buttons
