The Dress

I'm selling my stunning Hermione de Paula Wild rose wedding dress. Whilst I’m sad to say goodbye, I want to pass it onto someone who’ll feel as beautiful in it as I did on their big day.
Unlike many HdeP gowns, my dress has not been personalised with dates / writing. The wild rose design was so beautiful I didn’t want to detract from it.

I was adamant I wasn’t going to wear a “wedding dress”, but after some convincing from my Mother I went to the only designer I was instantly attracted to - Hermione de Paula.
This was the first and only dress I tried on. It was perfect; the modernity in its sheerness but also one of a kind in its beauty. When I saw my favourite quote typed alongside a picture of this dress on Instagram it was almost as if it was meant to be:
“ I will not be a flower, picked for my beauty and left to die. I will be wild, difficult to find and impossible to forget”.

The dress is a UK size Size 8. Taken in slightly at the waist and in the back with an additional £600 spent on adding extra botanical lace where the bodice straps were on show.
There’s a hidden finger loop on train so it can be held up at any point.

It was taken off immediately after the wedding breakfast and still in perfect condition.
It has also been dry cleaned.

I chose to keep the dress completely sheer, but I wore a flesh coloured backless body bodysuit and a pair of spanx shorts which more than did the trick at keeping my modesty intact!

Should anyone else who's a size 8 32C/D cup wish to buy the body suit that fits perfectly to go with this dress (RRP £150 from Liberty) I will happily sell this too for £50. It was worn on top of underwear and has also been dry-cleaned.
