The Dress

Chantel Lauren’s unique, hand-painted “Remington” dress is a beautiful gown for a bride searching for an ethereal, alternative look. It's made with a silk and Chantilly ivory colored lace bodice, criss cross 1” straps and a silvery satin organza skirt hand-painted in gold from the bottom-up.

It looks gorgeous in every light and in photos, is incredibly comfortable and light-weight (even with the length)and moves beautifully. I felt amazing in it and hope it can give you the same joy!

Notes:
- I purchased this dress as a floor sample, in excellent condition
- I had hooks added for a bustle, some of which stayed on the dress, some of which did not. The loose thread or remaining bustle hooks can be removed or re-sewn by a tailor and you won't notice them at all.
- The dress is a silver/grey color in most light but some of the paint is a dark bluish grey which gives it a blue tint in some photos/light. The versatility is quite beautiful.
- I have not had this dress dry-cleaned, as I did not want to fade the painted skirt. You can dry-clean at your own discretion, but I've seen mixed advice on whether this is a good idea or not.
- It has been kept in a smoke-free, pet-free home

Alterations

The dress was hemmed in the front to fit my height (5' 8.5" with 2in heels on), had bra cups added, and hooks/eyes added to keep the straps in place. I also had hooks for a bustle added.
